An original, yet very short story about a boy and his owl friend navigating their friendship through the natural world. Inspired by a social media Folk Tale Week challenge using the following prompts: MOON, DREAM, AWAKENING, FEAST, BIRD RIVER, SKY. Artists were invited to illustrate these prompts through existing folk stories or in creating their own–of which this story was born and illustrated. NOT professionally edited, just simply created and offered using my 7 illustrations with the 7 one-page chapters (prompts) as I originally presented through social media.
