Practice the Path of Peace

Practice the Path of Peace

Practice the path of Peace through lovingkindness.” (Found poem/photo by Michelle Hedgecock)

Today is International Day of Peace. It is a day dedicated to a world absent of war and violence. It is a worthy and hopeful vision despite the divisive, intolerant, violent and hate-filled climate that seems to grow unchecked in the United States and throughout the world. But I believe wholeheartedly that there are absolutely more of us who are instead committed to growing a culture of peace as a reality for our children now and for our upcoming generations. May we know world peace in our lifetime through lovingkindness and cultivating peace.

  1. If only…..but I shall never give up hope that this can be achieved. I shall give kindness daily and encourage others to do so, too.

    • That is encouraging just knowing someone else wishes it to be as well! We have already doubled our numbers, no longer individuals alone in this wish! Keep up the good work practicing this path, by your actions you are encouraging more of us than you know! ❤
