Found Poems: Healers

“Terribly exhausting experimentation kept her sick. Those are not cures.”

These two black-out poems were created independently and without the intention of any connection or message. However, while digitally embellishing them, I couldn’t help but notice the presence of two types of healers at work here: modern medicine and alternative medicine. Both are rooted in the belief and the gifts of their practitioners. Both are responsible for miracles in healing for their patients. I believe in the happy medium of both. Modern medical science is remarkable and prayer is powerful. What are your thoughts?

“Healers use the light.”

  1. This is so true. Both have a place in our lives. Love both poems.
