Inclusion

Inclusion

A relationship between two auras emanating,

One pulsing spirit and one suffering.

A foreign body embraced by gentle amethyst.

The state of being included.

Healing.

All members of the first also members of the second.

An inclusion now cradled by a composite aura of loss.

Once suffering, now accepting amethyst spirit.

The state of being included.

Healing.

This poem was inspired by the little amethyst stone with the inclusion you see in the image (and the healing/protection qualities of this semi-precious stone).  It made me think of the word “inclusion” in other ways and so I took dictionary definitions of the word “inclusion” and placed fragments of them directly into my poem. My intention being to create yet another layer of the theme.

Does it speak to you at all?
